The primary goal of this project was to transform a Listed Building and its attached Barn into the client's ideal and permanent residence. Extensive internal renovations and complete reconstruction of the Barn were central to achieving this vision. Given the Listed status, meticulous planning and collaboration with Conservation Officers and Local Planning Authorities were essential to ensure adherence to preservation guidelines and maintain the property's historical integrity.

A standout feature of the project is the remarkable glazed gable end and oak trusses in the newly constructed barn. Other notable aspects include the use of lime plaster in the original house, handmade oak doors and windows, remote-controlled conservation Velux windows, a refitted natural stone slate roof, solid oak flooring, a bespoke fitted kitchen, and the addition of a unique doggy shower. The project's significance lies in the dedication of both the builder and the client to preserve the property's historic charm while enhancing its appeal for future generations, thus safeguarding a piece of British heritage.
